(This is Mel, hoping to get a regular type controller char...I have fun playing this pairing on Second Chance and I think I'll like it here too.)

Description of Yeerk not required as they all look the same)Description of Human: Tallish and stocky, close to 6 feet; a little on the stocky side. Some of his build is muscle but he's also gained a little weight as he's aged. His hair is a mix of brown and gray, and sometimes he wears a beard, other times he doesn't. Or at least it was that way before he was infested, now it's not up to him obviously. He wears glasses but not all of the time, mostly for reading, and he has blue eyes. He's not quite as agile as he used to be, but he's still in pretty good shape for his age, due to his job.
His style is mostly buisness-casual, comfortable but professional. Like most detectives, he's often seen in a suit, but he often forgoes the tie because it gets in the way all the time. He likes his dress neat but functional and easy to move around in. He's not afaid to get down and dirty when he has to, though, and work sometimes requires it. He's not what might be thought of as movie-star handsome, but he's still got an attractiveness about him.
Personality of Human: (at least one paragraph consisting of 5-8 sentences)He's smart, a bit of an academic, and can be snarky at times. He isn't a broken host by any means, and likes to annoy Eskon playing mental games as often as he can. He's got a sense of honor, and he's willing to fight in any way he can, but he's not foolish enough to take unnecessary risks. He's always been a straightforward kind of guy, never wanting to engage in the politics that sometimes worm their way into the department heirarchy. He can be friendly, but he comes accross as reserved quite a bit of the time because he's not a real extroverted type of guy. He is the kind of guy though who finds a way to get things done, because he has a real stubborn streak. He doesn't like to give up.
Personality of Yeerk: Eskon has the typical Yeerk cockiness and superiority complex. But he is not just a rank and file grunt work kind of slug; he's ambitious. He's hoping to claw his way to a Visser rank eventually. Like his host, Eskon is snarky and enjoys playing with his host's mind. The two argue back and forth a lot. Eskon also has a sadistic streak though, and he has been known to try various tortures on his host. He is very curious and interested in his host species and their improvement.
Bio/History: (at least two paragraphs consisting of 5-8 sentences each)Will grew up fairly normally, although things weren't completely idyllic either. His father died when he was young and he grew up mostly with his mom, as an only child. He was a good student in school and kind of nerdy although he did play sports too. It wasn't easy for a young man growing up on the streets of Vegas not get into problems despite being too young to gamble or anything, but although he had a few run-ins, he managed to avoid getting himself into too much trouble. He decided to join the Army, and it was this that enabled him to study biology and chemistry in college.
Will became a forensic scientist and a detective after he left the Army, with a chemistry specialty, which heightened Eskon's interest after infestation. The infestation happened when he was shot in the line of duty and had to have surgery. The hospital had a fair number of controllers and when opportunities like this came along, they were quick to take them. Eskon had a previous Gedd and Hork-Bajir host and one previous human host, but that assignment was easy compared to this one. After infestation, Eskon used him to help ensure that controllers weren't sent to prison, which would mess things up badly. Will didn't submit easily like Eskon's previous host though, and the two quickly became a challenge to each other.
Since the takeover, Eskon has been involved in experiments for the Empire, and he harnessed his host's science knowledge to help his own along. The two bicker and torment each other all the time, and in a sense, they're actually fairly well paired that way. Eskon likes a challenge, and he's got a good one here.

Will was surprised that he could not move upon awakening. Or rather, he was moving, and speaking, but not of his own accord.
"Yeah, he's awake now" his voice said. "I kind of enjoy this part actually...the confusion followed by sheer terror."
"It's just too bad he doesn't have a wife. Those infestations are even better" the nurse said.

Ok. This is approved. It is basically the minimum in most of the sections I think, but I at least have felt you've tried a lot to keep your posts as long as you can and at least in L.A. it is noticable.
If you have a face claim post it.... and obviously you know the rest.
