Chase stared into her eyes as she rested her forehead on his. He wrapped his arms around her. "Yeah...I still don't want to. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me. I've wanted to tell you, too. But I was afraid..." He looked away briefly.
He kissed her back, wiping the tear from her cheek with one finger. Why'd he have to wait until now to show her how he felt? "Yeah, make the most of it," he repeated. "I promise, Licia. I will." He kissed her back, closing his eyes as he held onto her for dear life.

Felicia rested her forehead on his and stared in his eyes. She slid her arms down until her hands were resting on his shoulders. When he told her the news, Licia looked down to the ground. "Oh..." Tears started forming in her eyes and she looked at him a second. "I love you too. I've been wanting to tell you for so long..."
Felicia couldn't hold it in any longer, she kissed him again, a tear rolling down her cheek. She broke away. "Thirty minutes? Okay, then let's make the most of it. But first..." She had a serious expression on. "Promise me you'll take off if it gets too bad with your Dad, okay?" She kissed him again, letting her arms wrap around his waist.

Chase felt his face flush a deep red once he realized what he was doing. He was going to pull back and apologize, but she was actually kissing him back. He couldn't believe it! He let his tongue dance with hers a little, wanting to forget that he had only thirty minutes. And for a while, it worked; he just got lost in the kiss. It was just so amazing.
However, he had to eventually pull back and catch his breath. Then, the world came crashing down on him again. "Licia...I...I came here...to tell you something," he said, on the verge of tears. "Well, two things," he corrected after thinking a moment.
"Dad's....making me move again. I have thirty minutes. And I'll be gone. No idea where I'm going. And...I don't want to go, Licia. I'll miss you. I...I love you." He looked pleadingly into her eyes. "I'm sorry....." More tears stained his cheeks.

Felicia bit her lip when Chase told them he would go quietly, refraining from saying anything more. She returned the hug, too choked up to really say anything. "O-Okay...I'll be here." Her cheeks flared up when he kissed her cheek, and that didn't help her internal war any. If anything, it made it worse.
Was she supposed to say what she felt? She had felt like saying something before, but why hadn't she? Was it because she was afraid? She knew she was, but...she never let that stop her before. All those questions followed her as she went to bed.
------- Licia ran downstairs to the door and opened it. "Hell-" She felt Chase's lips on hers and she grasped his shirt and pulled him into the house. She returned the kiss eagerly, and didn't ask questions. She wrapped her arms around his neck as she introduced her tongue to his.

Chase smiled, squeezing Licia's hand. He wondered what he'd done to deserve a friend like her. Though it upset him that these assholes barged in right as he was going to ask if she wanted to be....something more. He held onto her hand, as if just their entwined fingers prevented them from ever being torn apart.
The cop glared. "Young lady, I'm going to ask you once to back off of him. Unless you have actual proof besides word of mouth, there is nothing we can do. Now, we've been authorized to use force, so I suggest you go quietly.
Chase released Licia's hand. "Alright. I'll go. Just...leave her alone," he murmured sadly. He wrapped an arm around her in a brief hug. "I'll be back soon. Promise. And Thanks. You're the best," he whispered before kissing her cheek. Then, he turned, beet red, being escorted into the cop car by the police and being driven home.
-----The Next Day --- Chase had gotten home yesterday to see his Dad had packed everything. They were moving again. TODAY. He'd been given half an hour at Licia's house. Their last half hour together. He knocked on the door. As soon as she opened it, he planted a kiss on her lips.

Felicia's eyes widened when she heard the police outside her door. She stood up and followed Chase to the door. "Excuse me, Officers?" She stood in front of Chase, glaring at them. "I think it'd be more healthy and safe for him if he stayed here." She threw them a challenging look, and dared them to dare touch her.
Felicia stepped back and stood next to Chase, taking his hand in hers. She leaned towards him and whispered, "I'm not letting you go without a fight." She gave him a reassuring squeeze and turned back to the officers. "What would you say if I told you that his father is an abuser? Would you seriously make him go back to that?"

Just so you know...free agents tend to be soley for Controllers, and in your history you say you were saved by the Animorphs. They will not give you the morphing ability if you plan on leaving them right afterwords. Normally if they save someone they offer them a chance to join them as a team, and there have been plans for certain animorphs to go rogue, and a few that have, but becoming an "traitor" in their eyes isn't the best idea lol. Also, you'd probably have less RP time if you left, because then there wouldn't be anyone to really write with.

Like it or not we've been drafted to save as much gray matter as we can. They wont hesitate to snatch you or kill you. We're just cattle to them." Lex paused, "I don't like it either but you gotta realize that those aren't people anymore. For all we know they've become vegtables and those things are in control."

Its finals time for me, so I won't be on much until Tuesday at the earliest (depending on how well I'm prepared for a final on Thursday) or Thursday night at the latest...
...although this really only applies to Charlie and Diana.
